DLobby deeply values the security of your data and privacy. As such, we store as little data as possible.

DLobby does not nor will it ever display ads. DLobby does not track you in any way.

DLobby does not use JavaScript in an effort to provide the fastest and safest web experience possible.

All data discussed in this document unless otherwise stated is data DLobby requests or gathers that is associated with your Discord account. Some governments classify this is as personal identifiable information.

Even though DLobby stores as little data as possible, we still need a little bit to identify you from Discord's perspective and know which Discord resources with which you can interact.

Collected data #

"Collected data" refers to data associated with you that DLobby requests or gathers but does not store in its databases.

Access token #

When clicking the "Login with Discord" button, Discord provides to DLobby a temporary access token that allows us to make requests to Discord on your behalf (OAuth). This access token is a randomly generated jumble of letters and numbers, so it is not directly identifiable to you as an individual.

DLobby stores this access token inside an encrypted session within your web browser.

The access token is not stored in our databases.

Upon logging out, DLobby requests that Discord invalidate the access token, preventing it from being used again.

Stored data #

"Stored data" refers to data associated with you that DLobby requests or gathers that is stored in its databases.

Discord User Information #

Discord user IDs are stored in our database for the purpose of identifying specific user accounts participating in the closed beta testing period.

Discord server information #

Server IDs are stored in our databases when you integrate that server with the DLobby application.

Additionally we store in a temporary cache the following:

  • server ID and name
  • a reference to the server icon
  • Discord roles associated with a server
  • Discord channels associated with a server

A message template used for every created lobby #

The message template you write as part of the DLobby integration is stored in our databases, so that we can recall it every time a server members creates a lobby.

Message templates are stored in plain text.

Command options and choices #

The command options and command option choices that you define as part of the DLobby integration are stored in our databases, so that we can recall them when a server member creates a lobby.

Command options and choices are stored in plain text.
